How do I find the domain and range of logarithmic and exponential equations?
Advice on intercepts would help too…thanks in advance.Submited by:Derek Hopper

For the domain of logarithmic functions – the argument of a logarithmic function must be positive
log base 3 of 9 = 2
log base 10 of 0.001 = -3
the argument must be positive => hence
log ( f(x) ) will have a domain limited to f(x) > 0
the rangle for the log function will be R for the full domain
e^x is the inverse of the natural log function. It has a domain of R and a Range of R+
